Who We Are

Electrosoft delivers a diversified set of technology-based solutions and services with a focus on cybersecurity. We couple our domain knowledge and experience with proven, mature management practices to deliver the right solutions on time and within budget. Since 2001, our culture of customer service, professionalism, accountability, excellence and innovation  - delivered on the bedrock of uncompromising integrity  - has set us apart in the marketplace.

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Electrosoft is an 8(a) certified Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and an 8(m) certified Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). We implement a Quality Management System (QMS) that is ISO 9001:2015 registered and CMMI Level 3 rated for both Services (SVC) and Development (DEV).

A passionate group of information assurance experts launched Electrosoft in 2001 with a desire to make a difference by elevating the state of information security within the Federal community. Our first customer, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), afforded us the opportunity to pioneer some of the earliest Federal standards and guidelines related to the issuance and authentication of digital identities. Next, at the Department of Defense (DoD), we identified and vetted new and innovative methods for rapid online verification of public key infrastructure (PKI) certificates. This work enabled the later expansion of the X.509 digital certificate use across the DoD enterprise. Our innovative, high-quality efforts caught the attention of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Treasury. For them, we addressed critical challenges in the areas of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance, incident response, configuration management, strong authentication and digital signatures. Thus, even at the start of our corporate trajectory, our work in the information security space stood at the leading edge of innovation.
