Electrosoft Wins Award to Support the Department of Treasury to Enhance the Security of its Facilities September 30, 2015

Electrosoft was awarded a contract to design and implement an automated and enterprise-wide Visitor Management System (VMS) for the Department of Treasury. The VMS will enhance the security of Treasury facilities by providing a centralized mechanism for managing Treasury building access requests for federal personnel, contractors and visitors, and by requiring visitors to use standardized, secure identity credentials to authenticate themselves prior to being granted access to Treasury facilities.

The work will be performed in multiple phases and will customize the Quantum Secure Visitor Identity Management (VIM) product to meet the Treasury Department requirements for provisioning visitor requests. The resulting system will become part of Treasury’s Physical Access and Control Solution (PACS) core functionality and interface with the various PACS solutions within the Department. The VMS solution will be deployed at various Treasury locations throughout the country.
