Electrosoft Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Certifications April 13, 2021

Electrosoft, an award-winning federal IT and professional services firm specializing in cybersecurity, today announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certifications. Developed by the International Organization for Standardization and International Electrotechnical Commission, the certifications are granted to companies demonstrating best-in- class management of information security management systems and delivery of IT professional services to customers. Electrosoft was granted the certifications following a stringent evaluation process by an accredited third-party assessor.

“For twenty years, Electrosoft has insisted on delivering high quality IT services with excellence and integrity to our federal customers,” said Dr. Sarbari Gupta, CEO of Electrosoft. “I am proud that these certifications validate our diligence with protecting customer information and our commitment to serving customers’ best interests with efficient, quality-focused technology solutions that support mission objectives.”

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 addresses a company’s Information Security Management Systems. The international standard outlines requirements for the policies, processes and systems a company – and its employees and contractors – use to manage information security.

ISO 20000-1:2018 addresses IT Service Management Systems, setting international standards for the effective and efficient delivery of IT professional services to external customers.
