Electrosoft’s Founder and CEO, Dr. Sarbari Gupta presented at the AFCEA Mid-America Cyberspace Conference November 10, 2020

Electrosoft, a leading provider of technology-based solutions and services to the federal government, announced that Founder and CEO, Dr. Sarbari Gupta was a presenting speaker at the AFCEA Mid-America Cyberspace Conference.

The virtual conference gathered government, military, industry, and academia thought leaders who showcased new concepts and ideas, while promoting efficiency and effectiveness as it relates to the cyber mission.

Dr. Gupta’s presentation, Who is Responsible for the Security of Cloud-based Information Systems?, discussed how to better manage an organization’s risk of operating cloud-based information systems.

“This is an important issue to address because many system owners erroneously believe that implementing a cloud-based solution is the equivalent of outsourcing all of the security responsibility.” Dr. Gupta continued, “The presentation provides a step by step approach to determine the system owner’s residual security responsibility in order to effectively manage risk.”

The two-day conference was held virtually on November 4-5 and drew over 1,000 attendees, over 20 sessions and workshops, had over 17 states represented and more than 30 sponsors.
