The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) recently awarded Electrosoft three new task orders under the J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The task orders have a combined value of $7 million and each has a three-year period of performance.
For the Systems Engineering Support task order, Electrosoft will devise an approach to system development that assures appropriate technical tasks are performed on the front end of the development cycle. Under a second task order, Electrosoft will provide configuration management support to DLA’s Program Executive Office. This effort includes a review of the structure of the existing Configuration Control Working Group and identification of ways to improve the metrics related to operational issues, among other efforts. The third task order calls for Electrosoft to support DLA’s Enterprise Business Systems portfolio. Here, efforts will focus on support activities related to replacing mission-critical legacy business systems.
