Electrosoft experts analyzed emerging policies, standards and trends and provided recommendations to ensure that a Civilian Department remained at the leading edge of Federal identity, credential and access management efforts, while ensuring that all applicable cybersecurity compliance and risk management activities adhered to policy.
A Civilian Department implemented a Program Management Office (PMO) to issue and manage personal identity verification (PIV) cards for all employees and contractors. The PMO needed operational support in areas such as project management, policy development and analysis, asset management, training, communications and help desk, among others.
Electrosoft’s team offered the Government diverse skillsets that exceeded its support needs. Embedded with Government staff, our professionals worked seamlessly with theirs to perform the needed functions to sustain the large user community that receives PIV cards through this program. Our experts analyzed emerging policies, standards and trends and provided recommendations to ensure that this Civilian Department stays at the leading edge of Federal identity, credential and access management efforts, while ensuring that all applicable cybersecurity compliance and risk management activities adhere to policy.
The Civilian Department’s program is moving forward into new realms of identity management, such as the issuance of all identity credentials through a Department-wide unified identity management system and the issuance of strong identity credentials on personal mobile platforms.
