Electrosoft performed in-depth research to identify, analyze and validate Emerging Health Technology (EHT) as well as healthcare trends, policies, standards and guidelines.
A Civilian Agency needed help in identifying and assessing emerging health information technologies that would improve the quality and efficiency of its healthcare Line of Business (LOB). However, the technologies had to comply with Government healthcare policy, cybersecurity mandates and relevant standards.
Electrosoft performed in-depth research to identify, analyze and validate EHTs, healthcare trends, policies, standards and guidelines. We created and maintained a technology roadmap specifying the most appropriate EHTs in light of the Civilian Agency’s goals and objectives. Electrosoft also developed business architectural security models that supported standards-based, enterprise-level implementation of security and privacy functions. Further, we recommended methodologies to maximize opportunities for repeatable processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and mandates.
Electrosoft’s research provided the Civilian Agency’s senior leaders comprehensive information on healthcare trends, allowing them to make better decisions regarding the evolution of the healthcare LOB. Moreover, via the Security and Privacy Architecture that Electrosoft developed, the Civilian Agency could develop standards-based, shared services for security and privacy that can be invoked by software applications across the enterprise. Plus, Electrosoft played a major role in architecting healthcare IT solutions that were interoperable with commercial healthcare systems.
