Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that the United States Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology, awarded the company a contract to analyze cryptographic mobility solutions. Federal agencies deploying PKIs want to utilize mobility solutions to support telecommuters and other mobile user applications, but require guidance to ensure that they achieve their security goals. NIST requires an analysis of the protocols to establish the acceptable range of applications for mobility solutions. The purpose and objective of this project is to support the development of security guidance for the use of mobility solutions in Federal Agency PKIs.
