DLA Selects Electrosoft for ICAM Segregation of Duties Business Support September 18, 2023

Electrosoft announced today that the Defense Logistics Agency has awarded the company a new Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Segregation of Duties (SOD) Business Support contract. Under the prime contract, the company will support the government’s design and implement SOD controls within the DLA ICAM construct.

“The DLA IT environment is complex, consisting of hundreds of systems and thousands of users, each with multiple system roles, resulting in millions of user role associations,” said Dr. Sarbari Gupta, Electrosoft CEO. “We are honored to bring our extensive knowledge of the DLA IT environment and deep experience in ICAM and SOD to help mitigate and limit risk from fraud or rogue users.”

SOD is a critical control which provides the ability to restrict users from performing incompatible actions within business processes, prohibit access to sensitive resources and enforce the principle of least privileged access.

Under the three-year contract, Electrosoft will help the government develop and implement a business strategy and plan to support DLA’s ICAM solution for access controls, including SOD. Additionally, the company will develop an ICAM/SOD governance framework for the DLA business enterprise and provide project management support.

The three-year contract has one base year plus two option years.
