MAY 2007 May 16, 2007Electrosoft awarded a subcontract to conduct penetration testing for the Dept. of the Treasury. Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a subcontract from CSC to conduct penetration testing for multiple environments of the Treasury Communications System (TCS). May 15, 2007 Electrosoft awarded task order to develop a major revision to NIST Special Publication 800-79, Guidelines for the C&A of PIV Issuing Organizations. Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a subcontract from Booz Allen Hamilton to develop a major revision to SP 800-79 Guidelines for the Certification and Accreditation of PIV Card Issuing Organizations. Electrosoft, which was part of the core team at NIST that developed the FIPS 201 Standard, will be revising SP 800-79 to provide additional guidance on assessment procedures for PIV C&A.
