Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that it had been awarded a subcontract by Acton Burnell, a system integrator based in Virginia, to provide network security and PKI guidance to a major biomedical research firm headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. Under this subcontract, Electrosoft will review the application and security requirements of the client organization, and recommend products and solutions to meet the unique requirements and regulations of the biomedical research industry.

Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that the United States General Services Administration (GSA), awarded the company a multiple award schedule Information Technology Professional Services contract under SIN 132-51. The contract number is GS-335F-0300M.

Dr. Sarbari Gupta, President of Electrosoft, will present at the 1st Annual PKI Research Workshop, which will be held at NIST, Gaithersburg, MD between April 24-25, 2002. The abstract of this talk is given below:

"This paper focuses upon the security characteristics of cryptographic mobility solutions (CMS). CMS allow the roaming user to make use of their cryptographic credentials from any workstation or system that has network connectivity to the apropriate credential server(s), without the need to carry portable software or hardware tokens. While CMS implementations have a greater potential for security vulnerabilities that traditional (non-mobile) cryptographic implementations, it is anticipated that the demand for products in this technology category will continue to grow in the future."
