Dr. Sarbari Gupta, CISSP, CISA, CAP
President

Dr. Gupta is a co-founder and the President of Electrosoft Services. She has extensive experience in software development and consulting services in the areas of computer security and cryptographic applications, serving both the government as well as the private sector. She has held various leadership and management positions at prominent companies. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on topics related to security and PKI, has published many papers, and holds several patents. She received her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Gary Shumaker
Senior Vice President

Senior Vice President Gary Shumaker, until last year, was the Chief Operating Officer of Access System, Inc. (ACCESS). Under his leadership, ACCESS tripled in size in 2004 and grew by another 60% in 2004. Prior to ACCESS, he was Chief Operating Officer of Multimax, Inc., another highly successful small 8(a) company; during his tenure, the firm grew at an average rate of 25% per year. Prior to that, he was a business development executive for SIGNAL Corporation, a firm so successful that it voluntarily exited the 8(a) program early and was subsequently sold for $225 million. Mr. Shumaker holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a master’s degree in Telecommunications, both from Michigan State University.

Nabil Ghadiali, CISSP, CAP
Technical Director, Information Assurance

Nabil Ghadiali is a seasoned IT security professional with a strong background in public key infrastructure (PKI) technology, Identity Management and Certification and Accreditation. His experience also spans project and product management, sales consulting and software development. He has led several IT security projects and authored numerous whitepapers, analysis reports and technical guidance documents in the areas of IT security including NIST Federal Information Processing Standards and Special Publications. Mr Ghadiali holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing Tools and Techniques, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Rick Uhrig
Director of Business Development

Rick Uhrig has 25 years experience in the Federal IT market, with a strong emphasis on IT security, data management and smart card technology. Most recently he has been closely involved with a number of programs relating to HSPD-12, including the GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program, PIV-I planning and implementation, and participation in various federal working groups, task forces and tiger teams. Mr. Uhrig brings an extensive background of business development and capture management to Electrosoft from his previous work at Enspier, Gemplus, Sybase and McDonnell Douglas; as well as significant hands-on experience in software development, system integration and solution architecture. Mr. Uhrig has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Computer Science.
