Electrosoft Services awarded subcontract to provide security access control and PKI technical expertise to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that it had been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) subcontract by a major Federal government system integrator based in Virginia, to provide PKI and smart card guidance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Under this subcontract, Electrosoft will collect requirements for security access control, review the access control mechanisms currently in place, analyze available products and technologies for access control, and recommend products and solutions to meet the unique requirements of the customer environment. Electrosoft will also support the customer with their efforts in using PKI within their environment.

Electrosoft Services awarded contract extension from NIST to Develop a NIST Special Publication on Cryptographic Mobility Solutions.

Electrosoft Services, Inc. announced today that it had been awarded an extension on its prime contract with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to research cryptographic mobility solutions or PKI roaming technologies. The extension adds more funds to allow Electrosoft to develop a NIST special publication on cryptographic mobility solutions.
